About the Calendar

Each year, the Walleye Classic Calendar Fundraiser supports the South Dakota Walleye Classic & Festival in Akaska, SD. Calendar holders are entered into weekly prize drawings for firearms, purchased through our trusted partner SODAK Sports.

When you purchase a calendar, you’re doing more than entering for great prizes — you’re helping sustain the South Dakota Walleye Classic & Festival and supporting the Akaska community. Proceeds from calendar sales help fund event operations and local conservation efforts that keep our fishing traditions strong for generations to come.

Rules of the drawing

• Only 800 calendars are sold each year.
• Gun drawing held every Monday, Winners can keep gun or choose half its value in cash.
• Winners pay all applicable taxes.
• Due to demand and availability, the Walleye Classic reserves the right to replace all guns with one of equal value.
• A drawing for $500 will be held in January 2027 for all of those who did not win a gun in the 2026 Drawing.
• All guns must be claimed from SODAK SPORTS within 90 days.
